Established in 1907, the Bersano winery is located in Nizza Monferrato (in the heart of the Barbera d’Asti area) and is a renowned producer of classically-styled Barbera, Nebbiolo and Brachetto. After several mildly disappointing years, 1974 is generally considered a good vintage with a hot and dry summer and mild autumn allowing grapes to achieve full maturity at harvest.
