`Produttori del Barbaresco Barbaresco Riserva Rabaja 2019 is a full-bodied, single-vineyard Nebbiolo red wine from the Barbaresco appellation of Piedmont, northern Italy. A much-admired Barbaresco co-operative, Produttori del Barbaresco was founded in 1958 by a group of 19 winegrowers . The co-op now boasts 50 members who cultivate about 100 hectares of vineyards. Production focuses on traditional winemaking practices. The wines are fermented in large oak casks and undergo extended maceration. Ageing takes place in large Slavonian oak barrels for an extended period. "The 2019 Barbaresco Riserva Rabajà is redolent of dark fruit, crushed rocks, graphite, sage, menthol and lavender all race across the palate, supported by bracing, young Rabajà tannins that make themselves felt. This mid-weight, powerhouse Barbaresco packs quite a punch." Vinous, 2023
