Produttori del Barbaresco Barbaresco Riserva Asili 2019 is a full-bodied, single-vineyard Nebbiolo red wine from the Barbaresco appellation of Piedmont, northern Italy. A much-admired Barbaresco co-operative, Produttori del Barbaresco was founded in 1958 by a group of 19 winegrowers . The co-op now boasts 50 members who cultivate about 100 hectares of vineyards. Production focuses on traditional winemaking practices. The wines are fermented in large oak casks and undergo extended maceration. Ageing takes place in large Slavonian oak barrels for an extended period. "The drop-dead gorgeous Barbaresco 2019 Asili Riserva from the Produttori del Barbaresco stuns with its extreme finesse and heady scents of wild rose, red berry, camphor, leather and brown spice. Full-bodied and vibrant, the elegant, linear palate delivers red cherry, blood orange, star anise and ground clove alongside youthfully tight but extremely refined tannins.
