A glorious 100% Nebbiolo from the 2017 vintage from the Bric Turot vineyard. This exceptional single-vineyard Barbaresco is fine and complex on the nose, with hints of liquorice, forest fruits, violets, cinnamon and cloves. On the palate, full and well balanced with a persistent finish of ripe fruit. Alfredo Prunotto founded his business in 1922, and was one of Piemonte’s most dynamic exporters until his retirement in 1956. The company then passed to Prunotto’s friend Beppe Colla, now a revered winemaker and one of the founding fathers of modern Piemonte.
