Bertani is an esteemed Italian wine producer that was founded by brothers Giovan Battista and Gaetano Bertani in 1857. The winery is located in Quinto di Valpantena, which is north of Verona. Bertani is particularly renowned for its production of Amarone, Valpolicella, and Soave wines. Their Amarone Classico always spends at least six years in old Slavonia oak botti, followed by 12 months in bottle. Expect intense notes of dried fruits, such as raisins and figs, along with hints of dark chocolate and roasted coffee beans, adding depth and complexity.
