The Madrona Ranch blend comes from a single vineyard at the base of Spring Mountain, planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Enticing aromas of dark cherry jam, plums, dark chocolate, menthol, liquorice and spices give the 2008 vintage its distinctive character. The tannins are well-integrated and slightly sweet. One of the finest wines from David Abreu.
