Waterstone Winery was established in 2000 with the idea of creating luxury wines at affordable prices. Waterstone owns no vineyards, instead focussing on bringing together previous relationships with Napa Valley growers and vintners in order to produce balanced wines of varietal character. The 2018 showcases layers of sweet black cherry, warm baking spices, lead pencil shavings and mocha. An elegantly structured Cabernet Sauvignon with plush mouth-filling tannins, fine dusty tannins, and a bright fruit expression; the wine finishes with notes of blackcurrant and cassis.
