Geyserville, a traditional field blend, intertwines Zinfandel with complementary varieties like Carignane, Petite Sirah, and Mataro (also known as Mourvèdre). Each vintage possesses its own distinct and extraordinary character, yet shares common elements of luscious blackberry fruit, ripe plum, rich cherry, and cedar. A remarkably consistent and elegant wine, Geyserville displays exceptional layering, with its unique flavour profile partly attributed to the relatively higher percentage of Carignane in combination with Petite Sirah, distinguishing it from most other Ridge Zinfandels.
