Cask Noir Unnamed Orkney (the whisky slueths are thinking maybe Highland Park?) 16 Year Old The Magnus Experiments is a special-edition age-statement single malt whisky produced on Orkney and bottled as part of the Brave New Spirits Company`s Cask Noir range. This island single malt was distilled at an unnamed Orkney distillery in 2006 and matured in a first-fill Bourbon cask for 16 years before being bottled at a cask strength of 63.4% in 2022. Just 288 bottles were made. This distinctive and smooth Orkney dram offers concentrated notes of salted caramel, chocolate and crème brulée.
