Established in 1993 by Larry Turley in Napa Valley, Turley Wine Cellars emerged as a result of Turley`s desire for a smaller, more intimately scaled production. Pesenti is an estate-owned vineyard with certified organic status, dating back to plantings in the 1920s on ancient marine calcareous soils. Despite utilizing head-trained and dry-farmed vines, it is the soil that predominantly shapes the identity of this west side Paso Robles vineyard. The wines typically exhibit a distinctive brightness, featuring chalk and floral aromas that are unique to the site and Zinfandel in general.
