Taittinger Prestige Rosé NV is a non-vintage rosé Champagne produced by Maison Taittinger in Reims. The house`s Prestige Rosé is produced using the `addition` method, according to which 85% of the fruit is vinified as white wine and 15% of a still Pinot Noir red wine – sourced from the best sites in the Montagne de Reims and Les Riceys – is added to the final blend. In-keeping with the Taittinger house style, a high proportion of Chardonnay is used in the blend, bringing elegance and delicacy to the final wine, which is matured on les for three years before disgorgement. Producer note. The full nose, wonderfully expressive, is both fresh and young. It gives off aromas of red fruits (freshly crushed wild raspberry, cherry, blackcurrant). On the palate, this wine strikes a fine balance of a velvet texture and full body taste. The flavours are reminiscent of fresh, crisp red fruits. The palate can be summed up in four words. lively, fruity, fresh and elegant, as only a rosé blend can be."

Taittinger

The Taittinger family have been running their eponymous Champagne house since 1932. One of the last family-owned houses in Reims, the brand has a reputation for quality-driven vintage and non-vintage Champagnes. Sourcing fruit from over 35 vineyards sites, the team produce a range of styles including an elegant non-vintage, two sweeter Champagnes in the form of Nocturne and Demi-Sec and a Grand Cru-based non-vintage.

The Taittinger family's Prestige Cuvée is Comtes de Champagne, first produced in 1952. This Blanc de Blancs (100% Chardonnay) is produced using fruit from five different Grand Cru sites across the Côte de Blancs. An aromatic, full-bodied Champagne with notes of citrus oil and green apple in youth, Comtes de Champagne ages superbly, with time in the bottle revealing notes of toasted hazelnut and a creamy richness.
