Champagne Taittinger
A Family Business

The Taittinger family have been running their eponymous Champagne house since 1932. One of the last family-owned houses in Reims, the brand has a reputation for quality-driven vintage and non-vintage Champagnes. Sourcing fruit from over 35 vineyards sites, the team produce a range of styles including an elegant non-vintage, two sweeter Champagnes in the form of Nocturne and Demi-Sec and a Grand Cru-based non-vintage.
The Taittinger family's Prestige Cuvée is Comtes de Champagne, first produced in 1952. This Blanc de Blancs (100% Chardonnay) is produced using fruit from five different Grand Cru sites across the Côte de Blancs. An aromatic, full-bodied Champagne with notes of citrus oil and green apple in youth, Comtes de Champagne ages superbly, with time in the bottle revealing notes of toasted hazelnut and a creamy richness.
