Viñedos Sierra Cantabria Rioja Mágico 2019 is a single-vineyard Tempranillo-based red wine made in the Rioja region of Spain. The wine is produced from a 1ha plot in San Vicente de la Sonsierra. The plot is made up of a biodynamically farmed field blend of grape varieties including Tempranillo, Garnacha, Graciano and Petit Bouschet together with the white varieties Calagraño, Turruntés and Viura. "All the grapes except the Garnacha were harvested and fermented together in a French oak vat followed by malolactic in new 500-liter oak barrels, where the wine matured for some 25 months. It`s ripe and heady, showcasing the style of the year and the preferences here, when they flavour powerful years, spicy and with a lactic touch, full-bodied, with good ripeness and nice balance and freshness."
