Château Gruaud Larose is located southwest of the village of Beychevelle, within the Saint-Julien appellation. Since the 2019 vintage, the estate has been implementing the necessary measures for the conversion to organic farming. This release is the 2010 vintage of its second wine, a blend composed of 70% Cabernet Franc, 23% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot and 3% Cabernet Franc, aged for 14 months in French oak barrels [15% new]. Expect plenty of polished, creamy red fruit alongside notes of cedar, graphite, smoke and leather.
