A wine of truly mythical status. For many fine wine aficionados, Domaine de la Romanée-Conti is the pinnacle of wine. Run by the indefatigable Aubert de Villaine, the domaine consists of 25 hectares of biodynamically tended vineyards, all of which are of Grand Cru classification and includes some of the greatest terroirs in Burgundy. Incense and wild berries, cassis and sous bois on the nose, are followed by a wonderfully layered palate, silky in texture with supple tannins and a fine seam of acidity.
