Quinta do Crasto`s Reserva Vinhas Velhas is a blend made from a selection of the best grapes sourced from their old vineyards, which are aged between 70 and 100 years old. The blend typically includes up to 30 different grape varieties native to the Douro region. The 2007 vintage is known for its deep, dark colour, with an expressive and complex nose, offering notes of blackberries and plums, along with hints of spice, balsamic, and mineral undertones. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and concentrated, with well-integrated tannins and a lingering finish. The Reserva Vinhas Velhas 2007 pairs well with red meats, game dishes, and rich cheeses.
