Ravenswood Winery began in 1976 with pioneering winemaker Joel Peterson at the helm and has forged a reputation as one of the finest producers of Zinfandel in California. The Teldeschi Vineyard was planted in 1913 and is located in Dry Creek Valley, just north of Healdsburg in Sonoma County. The 1998 is now fully integrated and expresses notes of deep black berry fruits, beaten leather, peppery spice and earth.
