‘Quinta do Vale Meão Tinto’ is typically a blend of several indigenous grape varieties, including Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Tinta Barroca. The grapes are hand-harvested and carefully sorted before undergoing fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels for a period of time, usually around 18 to 24 months, which adds complexity and structure. Expect a rich and concentrated expression, filled with dark fruits such as blackberry and blueberry, accompanied by floral notes, spices and a touch of minerality.
