Based in Puligny-Montrachet, Jean Pascal & Fils is a 15-hectare domaine run by Jean Pascal’s grandson Yann together with his wife Alexandra. All their wines are barrel fermented and aged on the fine lees for 12 months prior to bottling. This release is their 2017 ‘Les Folatières’, a well-regarded premier cru vineyard in the Puligny-Montrachet appellation. It is a fresh white Burgundy, with a buttery, complex palate and enticing crispness.
