The UV-SL Vineyard is named after the legendary vineyard manager, Ulises Valdez, and its location on Stoetz Lane. Only six miles from the Pacific Ocean, the cooling maritime influences are always present, yet always balanced by natural richness of fruit. The 2017 is a wonderful release with delicious notes of crème brulée, white peaches, poached pear, lemon oil, blanched almonds and crushed rocks. Described as his ‘chameleon’ wine, it evolves with every sip.
