Etienne Sauzet Puligny-Montrachet Champ Gain 2022 is a medium-bodied Burgundy white wine from the Premier Cru climat of Champ Gain in the Puligny-Montrachet appellation of the Côte de Beaune. Domaine Etienne Sauzet is a biodynamic wine producer located in the village of Puligny-Montrachet. Founded in the first half of the 20th century by Etienne Sauzet, the estate is today managed by Emilie Boudot and Benoit Riffaul. This release is their 2022 Champ Gain. "The 2022 Puligny-Montrachet Champs Gain 1er Cru has a well-defined and expressive bouquet with Granny Smith apple, citrus peel and petrichor scents. The palate is taut, with a touch of lemon and orange rind on the entry. It has very good concentration and pleasing texture with excellent weight and composure towards its lightly spiced finish. Excellent." Vinous, 2024
