Pulenta Estate Gran Malbec (X) 2019 is a full-bodied blended Malbec from the Uco Valley of Mendoza, Argentina. Produced from two organically farmed high-altitude vineyards in the Uco Valley, the wine was matured for 18 months in French oak barrels (20% new, 40% second use, 40% third use). The Pulenta Estate was founded in 2008 by brothers Hugo and Eduardo Pulenta, the estate has rapidly earned a reputation for producing some of the most refined examples of high-altitude Malbec in Argentina. Winemakers note on the 2019 vintage Gran Malbec. "Intense dark violet colour, with a surprising brightness. Aromas of red fruit and cherries, combined with subtle notes of violet and purple flowers, marking the varietal presence. Delicate toasted aromas, given by the oak."
