Parlange & Illouz Haute Pièce 2020 is a full-bodied red wine produced from Malbec grapes in the Cahors appellation of south-west France. Hailing from Paris, winemaker Jérémie Illouz is along with the likes of Fabien Jouves of Mas del Perié one of a new breed of winemakers promoting the terroir story of Cahors. This cuvée is produced from Jérémie`s oldest Malbec vines which grow on manganese-rich soil. Complex aromatics of dark cocoa, freshly ground coffee, peonies and marshmallows are complemented by fresh acidity and an umami undertow.
