Since 1982, Gary Pisoni has poured his energy into making distinguished wine from Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Syrah using meticulous, state-of-the-art viticulture. The Lucia Chardonnay is produced from a blend of select barrels of the Pisoni and Soberanes vineyards that are located in the Santa Lucia Highlands AVA, Monterey County. These two vineyards combine to produce a complex and seamless wine, the higher-elevation Pisoni Vineyard contributing delicious notes of baked apple, pear and lemon curd, and the rocky Soberanes Vineyard providing signature notes of citrus blossom and wet stone.
