Paleo Le Macchiole is an unfined, unfiltered, barrique-aged blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Sangiovese and 10% Cabernet Franc. It has a deep ruby colour with purple reflections. On the nose, there are hints of liquorice, smoke, graphite, blackberries, and cassis. The wine is full-bodied, with a roasted meat character to its flavours, excellent purity and concentration. Both acidity and tannins are perfectly integrated.
