Domaine Robert Arnoux – which has been renamed Domaine Arnoux-Lachaux since 2007 – is a well-regarded producer in Burgundy, known for crafting elegant and expressive wines from various appellations. The Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru ‘Les Procès’ 1998 displays a medium ruby colour with some age-related brick hues at the rim. On the nose, the wine evokes aromas of red and black cherries, dried herbs, forest floor, and subtle hints of leather and tobacco. The palate is medium-bodied, with fine tannins and well-integrated acidity that provides a vibrant backbone to the wine. The flavours of red and black fruits mingle with earthy and savoury notes, leading to a long and satisfying finish.
