Amontillado Napoleon is part of the wider Bodegas Hidalgo – La Gitana range. The name Napoleon is inspired by the fact that, during the Peninsular War of 1807-1814, Hidalgo provided wine to the French army (at the same time as selling wine to the British forces under the Wellington label). An excellent example of entry-level Amontillado Sherry, with notes of smoked nuts, herbs and cedar.
