Widely regarded as one of Italy’s greatest winemakers, Edoardo Valentini produced wine commercially from 1956 until his death in 2006, which is the vintage of this remarkable Montepulciano d`Abruzzo. The estate makes just three wines. Trebbiano d’Abruzzo, Cerasuolo Montepulciano d’Abruzzo (a dry rosé) and this red Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, which is the jewel in the crown. Bold, energetic and structured, it is ready to be enjoyed now.
