Mars Komagatake Shinshu Aging 2022 Limited Edition is a single malt whisky produced at the Shinshu Distillery in Japan. Japanese craft whisky distiller Mars operates two distilleries. Shinshu in Miyada in the foothills of the Japanese Alps and Tsunuki in Minamisatsuma City in the warm southernmost part of mainland Japan. The climatic conditions of these regions has a strong influence on the whiskies produced there. This 2022 edition of Mars Komagatake Shinshu Aging is produced from a core of Bourbon cask-matured single malt, with smaller portions matured in Sherry and Port casks.
