The Mâcon-Igé wine from Domaine Leflaive is a white wine made from Chardonnay sourced from the Mâcon-Igé appellation, in the Mâconnais. Domaine Leflaive`s expansion into the Mâconnais allowed them to produce more affordable wines that still retain the high-quality winemaking standards and practices for which the Domaine is known. These Mâcon-Igé wines are often characterized by their freshness, fruitiness, and approachability. They tend to exhibit bright citrus and orchard fruit flavours, along with floral and mineral notes. The wines are typically only lightly oaked, allowing the purity of the Chardonnay fruit to shine through.
