The Los Dazantes distillery is located in Santiago Matatlán, Oaxaca and produces this artisan Reposado style Mezcal from 100% Espadin (Agave angustifolia Haw.), aged for nine months, 70% in American white oak barrels and 30% in French white oak barrels. Smoky, earthy notes on the nose are accompanied by touches of vanilla and maple syrup. Well-balanced on the palate, with notes of coconut, vanilla and wood, concluding on a sweet finish.
