L`Arrosée 2005 is a medium-bodied, Merlot-based red wine from the St-Emilion appellation of Bordeaux. Located on the western end of St-Emilion, the 10ha property of L`Arrosée`s is planted with 50% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Cabernet Franc. The property produces classically-styled, medium-bodied Saint-Émilion wines made from a blend of mostly Merlot with lesser parts Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. "A Bordeaux that seems to have a Burgundian personality, L’Arrosée’s 2005 displays elegance and finesse, with sweet black cherry and blackcurrant fruit, hints of minerality and earth, but soft tannin, a lush, medium-bodied style, and impressive concentration, purity and overall texture. By no means a blockbuster (in a vintage that produced almost endless numbers of them), this wine can be drunk now or cellared for another 15-20 years." Wine Advocate, 2015
