Based in Reims, Maison Lanson is a historic Champagne house founded in 1760. A relatively new addition to its core range, Le Black Réserve was developed by chef de cave Hervé Dantan, who joined Lanson in July 2013. The non-vintage brut champagne is a blend of 50% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Meunier, aged for at least 5 years. Expect a very gastronomic cuvée, with notes of pears, honey, citrus and chalk.
