Kistler Vineyards, renowned for their meticulous vineyard practices and focus on terroir, crafts this Cuvée using a mix of traditional winemaking techniques. This vintage reflects both the unique climatic conditions of 2013 and the influence of carefully selected grapes from their vineyards in Sonoma County.
Gracious and pliant, Kistler's 2013 Pinot Noir Silver Belt Cuvée Natalie is quite inviting. Expressive aromatics give the 2013 a lovely sense of lift, yet there is plenty of palate presence as well. Dark cherry, plum, spice and cola are some of the notes that are pushed forward. The Cuvée Natalie has come along nicely since I tasted it last year.
