This is the 3rd batch of Kilkerran Heavily Peated, which was matured in 80% bourbon casks and 20% sherry casks, then bottled up at 59.7% ABV. The nose is scented with musty warehouse, salted caramel, stewed peaches, white fruits, fresh soil and campfire smoke. The palate displays rich malt, burnt oak, bourbon sweetness with baked dark fruits, plus cocoa and honey undertones.
