Campbeltown-based Glengyle produces a range of Kilkerran single malt whiskies, all natural in colour and non-chill filtered. This heavily peated expression was matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks before being bottled up at 57.7% ABV. The nose opens up to reveal citrus notes, vanilla cheesecake, rhubarb and custard, with a touch of peat smoke. Flavours of freshly baked Bramley apple pie and salted caramel dominate the palate.
