A superb single malt whisky produced by the Glengyle Distillery in Campbeltown. As the name suggests, this whisky has been aged for 8 years in ex-bourbon casks, which are known for imparting flavours of vanilla, oak, and caramel to the liquid. The nose combines sweet and fruity aromas, with hints of honey, citrus, and vanilla. On the palate, this is a smooth and creamy dram, with notes of caramel, toffee and oak.
