Groth Vineyards & Winery is a well-known producer in Napa Valley founded by Dennis and Judy Groth in 1982. The winery is located in the Oakville AVA, an area famous for producing high-quality Cabernet Sauvignon. This is their flagship wine, made from the best grapes sourced from their Oakville Estate vineyards. It is predominantly a Cabernet Sauvignon, often blended with a small percentage of other Bordeaux varietals such as Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. The 2019 vintage is a full-bodied wine, with concentrated fruit flavours, firm yet ripe tannins, and a balanced acidity that provides structure and length to the finish.
