François now produces wines bearing both the René Leclerc label and creates three distinct cuvées from his vineyards. This release is sourced from the prestigious Grand Cru Griotte-Chambertin, where Leclerc owns a 0.68-hectare parcel. Wines from this appellation are highly sought after among collectors, not only due to the limited production quantity but also because their consistent quality and style result from the smaller size of the site.
