`Greywacke Wild Sauvignon Blanc 2021 is a medium-bodied Sauvignon Blanc from the Marlborough region of New Zealand. Greywacke was created in 2009 by renowned winemaker Kevin Judd and quickly cemented its reputation as a producer of benchmark Marlborough Sauvignon. The winery takes its name from the prevalence of rounded greywacke river stones - a sedimentary rock widely found in Marlborough - in the soils of the estate vineyard. The Greywacke Wild 2021 was spontaneously fermented with wild yeasts and fermented in French oak barriques before maturation in oak barrels. This is an alternative style of Sauvignon Blanc that is both intricate and textural, with a rich, succulent palate finishing crisp and long with a flinty dryness.
