Based in Gevrey-Chambertin, Denis Mortet is a family-owned estate run by Laurence Mortet and her two children, Clémence and Arnaud. The Domaine was originally founded in 1956 by Charles Mortet with just a single hectare of vines to his name. This cuvée comes from five plots situated on the northern slope of Gevrey-Chambertin called the ‘Côteau de Brochon’. Thanks to the small, concentrated berries produced by these old vines, the wines are typically rich and fruit-forward, with velvety tannins and superb freshness.
