Since the 1970s, the Moccagatta family has managed the Villa Sparina estate. Their Gavi di Gavi DOCG was introduced in 1974 and remains intricately linked to the estate`s rich heritage. Crafted exclusively from Cortese grapes sourced from vines averaging 30 years of age, the wine is known for its remarkable purity and precision. Revealing notes of honeysuckle and yellow pears on the nose and a distinct minerality on the palate, it bears resemblance to a Chablis.
