Frontonio Microcosmico Macabeo 2023 is a product of Bodegas Frontonio, known for its efforts to rejuvenate Aragon`s viticulture. Crafted from 100% old-vine Macabeo, sourced from vines over 65 years old, this wine reflects the region`s clay-limestone soils at an altitude of 530 metres. The winemaking process involves fermentation in cement tanks using indigenous yeast, followed by ageing on the lees in the same tanks, without battonage. This method highlights the wine’s purity and essence, reflecting the distinct terroir of the area while maintaining a respectful nod to traditional practices.
