Frecciarossa Uva Rara 2021 is a full-bodied red wine produced from the Uva Rara grape variety in the Lombardy region of Italy. Produced from vineyards in the foothills of Casteggio on soil of clay-limestone, this benchmark example of Uva Rara was matured for three months in used barriques and five months in stainless steel vats, then spending a further three months ageing in bottle before release. Expect generous aromas of Marasca cherry fruits of the forest, with hints of black pepper on the spicy finish.
