Famille Dutraive is a relatively new wine label created by Jean-Louis Dutraive, who also owns Domaine de la Grand`Cour. This cuvée comes from a single plot, ‘La Madone’, located to the east of the Fleurie appellation. The vines are planted on very steep slopes, between 350 and 400m in altitude. The grapes were vinified in concrete vats and the wine was aged in wood barrels for 6 months.
