Alvaro Palacios Finca Dofí 2020 is a single-vineyard Garnacha-based red wine from the Priorat appellation of Catalan Spain. Clos Dofí (now called `Finca Dofí`) was one of the first great vineyards to raise Priorat to global fame as a fine wine region. This prized vineyard site produces wines of extraordinary ripeness and depth. The 2020 is the usual Garnacha-based blend with smaller proportions of Cariñena. For the first time in this vintage, a small amount of the local white variety Picapoll was added to the blend. "This is a vivacious wine with red fruit and lovely aromas of velvety red roses. Vividly fresh palate, with wild herbs overlaying the resounding dark fruits. A long firm finish, brisk and determined, with a slight stony echo." Decanter, 2021
