Fattoria di Fèlsina is a historic estate in the Chianti appellation, run by the Poggiali family. Fontalloro, which has been produced since 1983, is the winery’s most representative expression of Sangiovese. It is purple in colour, with enticing aromas of black fruits, tar, liquorice and leather. Full-bodied, with pronounced acidity. On the palate, notes of black cherries, tobacco, cooking herbs and some earthy undertones. Incredible length on the finish, with smooth tannins and a refreshing aftertaste.
