Situated in Sicily, Tenuta delle Terre Nere was conceived by the charismatic Marc de Grazia, renowned as one of the `Barolo Boys` in the 1980s. The estate boasts pre-phylloxera vines, the source of this particular release. Introduced in 2006, the wine, crafted entirely from Nerello Mascalese grapes, undergoes up to 18 months of barrel ageing in French oak barriques. The annual production is restricted to approximately 4,000 bottles.
