- The 2020 Etna Rosso Guardiola is dusty and floral, with a mix of dried black cherries, clove and sage forming its bouquet. This is a pure and juicy style with lifted red and blue fruits accentuated by hints of sweet spice. A coating of fine tannins lingers as the 2020 tapers off with medium length and remarkably fresh. While I don't perceive the power I typically associate with Guardiola here, I'd be lying if I said that this wasn't a truly enjoyable interpretation of the vineyard.
