Originally formed in 1933, Georges Mugneret-Gibourg is a celebrated wine producer based in the Côte de Nuits. The estate is not only known for its Grand Crus but also for high-quality and age-worthy village-level wines from Nuits-Saint-Georges and Vosne-Romanée. The Domaine’s Échezeaux hails from two parcels, Les Rouges du Bas and Les Quartiers de Nuits, both with a deep soil consisting of gravel and silt. This particular release is from 2005, a legendary vintage which is in very high demand.
